Ο διακεκριμένος Μαέστρος και Συνθέτης Άλκης Μπαλτάς παρουσιάζει τρία έργα του αφιερωμένα στην Κύπρο αντλώντας θεματικό υλικό από Κυπριακές μελωδίες.
Η «Κυπριακή σουίτα» γράφτηκε το 1969 και αντλεί το υλικό της από την συλλογή του Θεόδουλου Καλλίνικου (1904-2004) «Κυπριακή Μούσα» (Λευκωσία 1951). Η εναρμόνιση των μελωδιών έγινε με πρόθεση να μην προδοθεί το απλό και απέριττο ύφος της δημοτικής μουσικής.
